This group will be practicing on Tuesdays 6-7:30pm and Saturdays 9-10:30am. We will play at the ball fields next to Chester Academy. You should receive a call from your coach no later than the end of the 3rd week of April. Play will begin in May and end in the Middle of June. Clinics may be scheduled before the season begins for Saturday mornings at Chester Academy.
AA Ball - 7 and 8 year olds:
AA players will be practicing on Wednesdays 6-7:30pm and Saturdays 10:30 - noon. We will play at the ball fields next to Chester Academy. You should receive a call from your coach no later than the end of the 3rd week of April. Play will begin in May and end in the Middle of June. Clinics may be scheduled before the season begins for Saturday mornings at Chester Academy.
AAA Ball - 9 and 10 year olds:
This group will be practicing on Monday and Thursday 6-7:30pm, and Saturday 12:30-2:30pm, OR 1-3pm OR 3-5pm (to be determined by coaches). We will play at the ball fields next to Chester Academy. Coaches will notify all players of the team that they are on by the end of the second week of April and practices will begin the third week of April indoors and move outdoors as field conditions allow. Games will begin on May 1st if field conditions allow.
Minors / Majors - 10 -12 year olds:
These teams will practice on the Minor/ Major fields most every night of the week, with Majors playing mostly on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays. Minors are scheduled mostly on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with occasional Friday games as well. They will be given priority on field scheduling conflicts, but will not be able to reschedule games at times that conflict with Babe Ruth games.
Babe Ruth:
This year will feature 2 teams, one will be a 13-year-old prep league team, and the other will be the 14-15 year old team. Games will be scheduled around Minor/ Major schedules and play mostly on Friday nights and Sundasys. Home field scheduling will be given priority to the 14-15 year old team as previously agreed with the 13 year old team coaches. Games will not begin until mid-May. Practices will begin in April.
Softball:
U12 practice/game times are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm, and Saturdays 9:30-11am. These teams will travel, so away games will be held in other towns. You should receive a call in early April from your team's coach. The U12 teams will begin practices indoors in mid-March.
